 AMELOT is an Ohio-based club for enthusiasts of science fiction television, feature films, and more. You'll find yourself at home with fans of Star Trek, Star Wars, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Stargate, Firefly, Babylon 5, and many other sci-fi programs and movies.
The Camelot is based in Dayton, Ohio, but we also participate in fun activities throughout the Cincinnati, Dayton, Middletown, and northern Kentucky areas.

Just a reminder that anyone interested in running for an office should declare their intentions at the May meeting. We will hear from prospective candidates in June and elections are in July.

I have noticed that the software our server uses has removed
several members because of excessive bounced messages.
If you notice you have not or are not receiving messages from the
list please let me know in the "Technical Readouts" forum. We will
get your email address re-added. The server seems to have a
particular problem with those of you using Road Runner.
Occasionally, the system will get a hiccup and cause you to receive
a "failure notice", if you receive one of these. let me know. Usually
it is nothing to worry about and corrects itself.

To all Dover Delegates... ..
YES!!!! There will be a Camp Dover Reunion. Preliminary plans are
underway as I post this announcement. Hopefully it will happen in
April of 2009 as that is our target date however, this is not a
guarantee that it will happen in April.
I will keep all of you apprised as my staff and I make progress with
making this reunion happen.

Katherine, our Captain for the last 18 months, shared with the group a bit about her ongoing illness which has kept her out of commission for quite a few months. She has decided to step down as captain and put all her energies into getting well. At the January meeting Captain Katherine passed captaincy to XO Robin. Katherine's strong leadership as captain will be missed and we wish her a complete (and quick) recovery. Thankfully she will still be a part of the club! Helen Lake has graciously acquiesced to be XO until elections in July. All other positions remain the same.
