 AMELOT is an Ohio-based club for enthusiasts of science fiction television, feature films, and more. You'll find yourself at home with fans of Star Trek, Star Wars, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Stargate, Firefly, Babylon 5, and many other sci-fi programs and movies.
The Camelot is based in Dayton, Ohio, but we also participate in fun activities throughout the Cincinnati, Dayton, Middletown, and northern Kentucky areas.

The Starship Camelot will be holding its 2011 Summer Picnic
on Saturday August 13th at Springboro Community Park,
660 West Market Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066.
We'll start things off at 11:00 AM..
The usual food protocol: bring something to grill and a dish to share. Whatever you want to drink. Katherine will be bringing 2 dozen hard boiled eggs, and a pasta salad. Bob and Katherine will furnish the grill items (charcoal, utensils and such) but the position of grillmeister is open to whoever would like it.
Grilling commences at 12:00 Noon.
Please post to the crew what you decide to bring so we can have a variety of items. Thanks!!
As a fun thing, bring along any Sci-Fi toys you might want to put in a picture, we are trying to out geek the MONIX guys!!
Come prepared to have a lot of fun and hang out for a while.

Just a reminder that our First meeting of 2011 will this coming Friday January 21st at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. Meeting starts at 7 PM, we will be putting together our calendar of events for 2011. Please try and make it, especially if you have an event to add to the list. As always we head out for a nice relaxing dinner afterward.

Once again The Starship Camelot is hosting the Space Balls Putt-Putt Tournament!
This years tourney will be Saturday, September 18 at Rollandia's Magic Castle. (click here for directions and other info)
Team sign ups begin at 11am. First tee will be at 12 noon!
Cost is $8 per person for Pizza, soda and all the putts you can putt!
Come out and join the fun. Funtastic prizes will be awarded in many zany categories!
